Reasons to Overcome Depression and to be Hopeful

  Have you experienced a critical low in your life?Have you lost someone close to you?Do you look at your life and think it's all over?Do you think you've lost the love of the world including the non-living things?(IT COULD BE THAT BAD).
              Well if you have,i share and feel for your pain,but I'm not here to write in tears but in hope and faith and strength.I'm going to highlight 10 points to encourage anyone in this deep "hell-hole" to fight out of it.
 1. In the movie, Pursuit of Happiness,Chris Gardner played Will Smith was a salesman who lost all his family savings in a business deal and had to struggle for a year with homelessness,which made his wife leave him.His son chose to be with him.Through all the embarrassments of dodging cab fares,he was able to impress a manager of a sales company, by solving the Rubik's cube and so got internship at the company.All through his fight with poverty,he never showed it and was able to make more phone sale calls and quicker than the other interns.After all this pain,he eventually got he job and celebrated with his son in tears.Chris went on to form his own multi-brokerage firm.
2. In another movie,Life,Ray Gibson and Claude Banks played by Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence respectively,were sentenced to life imprisonment for a murder crime they didn't commit.They were sent to "Camp 8", a harsh prison facility.These two friends faced a lot of ups and downs and even had a huge argument which halted their friendship for a long while.They eventually found out that the person who framed them up and the chief warder was shocked and promised them that he 'll sign for their freedom."Great!!!!!!!" you'll think, right? When they thought everything was going well for them,guess what?THE CHIEF WARDER DIED OF A HEART ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!This did not stop them from formulating ways to escape for their freedom even in their now-old age.Eventually they escaped through a cleverly planned fire scheme,that everyone believed killed them.They were even given burials.They enjoyed a baseball game together after so many years of torment.
3  Christopher Columbus,amidst being called "mad",sailed for more than a year through three trips to fulfill his long dream of finding an independent vast continent across the Atlantic ocean which is America.
4. The Spanish football national team had been named as the "weakest" superpower team in the world for years before winning two major titles in two years,2008 and 2010,which were the European championship and World cup respectively and immediately surpassed world and reigning champions,Brazil on the ranks.
5. After 76 years,just recently,Andy Murray became only the second British man to win a U.S. Open tennis championship which was also his first grand slam title since starting professionally in 2005.
6. Joseph was sold into slavery by his brothers,but through faith progressed to become the King of Egypt.
7. Living Hip Hop legend.Eminem,was wretched and facing hard times while living in his mom's house with her boyfriend and found succor in listening to rap music and writing rhymes.He struggled to feed his daughter as a single parent and eventually participating in rap battles across Detroit.He eventually got signed by Dr Dre,and today is one of the 100 greatest hip hop artists of all time.
8. In 1962 Nelson Mandela was in prison for 27 years and finally came out to become south African's first democratic president in 1994.
9. In Phil 3:13,the apostle Paul wrote,"Brethren,i count myself to have apprehended;but this one thing i do,FORGETTING THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEHIND,AND REACHING FORTH UNTO THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE BEFORE.
10. As long as you are alive and breathing your life can still change for the better.Try telling that to someone in the grave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
